Overview
As part of our ongoing commitment to user security, Betano is introducing a new feature designed to help you stay informed about key account activities.
What It Is
Whenever your account password is updated, you’ll receive an alert letting you know this change has taken place.
This applies whether the password change was made by you—such as after a reset or routine update—or by someone else who may have gained unauthorized access to your account.
Purpose
The alert ensures that you’re immediately notified of any password changes on your account.
If you didn’t initiate the change, you can quickly take action to secure your account and prevent potential misuse. No action is needed if the password change was made by you.
Why It Matters
Early detection is key to account protection.
Instant notifications give you the opportunity to spot suspicious activity before it escalates, helping reduce the risk of unauthorized access.
How You’ll Be Notified
You’ll receive an email alert from Betano confirming that your password was changed.
The email will include details about the change.
If you did not make the change yourself, you’ll be advised to reset your password immediately.
Important: Always check that the alert comes from Betano’s official sender address (noreply@betano.cz) before taking any action. This helps ensure you’re responding to a legitimate security message, not a phishing attempt.
