Account closure can be reversed. Account deletion is permanent. If you want to close your account but may return later, choose closure. If you want your account and personal data removed for good, choose deletion.
How account closure works
Account closure stops all activity on your account, and you can restore it later.
- To close your account, contact Customer Support through one of the communication channels available in the footer of this page.
- Your account is closed after a 14-day notice period, which starts on the second day after your closure request.
- To restore a closed account, contact Customer Support again.
How account and data deletion works
Account and data deletion is permanent and can only be requested by you.
- Your account is permanently closed and cannot be reopened.
- You cannot open a new Betano account.
- Your personal data is erased in accordance with our data retention policy.
To request deletion, go to Privacy Notice → § 5.2 → Right to erasure → Account Deletion → Submit request. If you don't have access to your account, email dpo-office@betano.cz from your registered email address and include your username.
Other ways to limit or pause your gambling
