In-Play Chat (ChatBox) is Betano's social feature that lets you chat live with other members and discuss the action during selected live sporting events.
How to use it:
- Open the page of a supported live event.
- Click the In-Play Chat icon.
- Accept the Chat Terms and Conditions.
- Join the conversation in real time.
Good to know:
- Available only for selected live events to logged-in users with verified accounts.
- Each event has its own public chat room — private or direct messages aren't available.
- Country-specific restricted keywords are filtered automatically.
- Be respectful, keep discussion relevant to the event, and avoid offensive or abusive language. Messages aren't moderated in real time, but Betano can take action when the Chat Terms and Conditions aren't followed.
