Called bets are groups of inside bets covering specific sections of the wheel, common in European Roulette:
- Neighbours of Zero ("La Grande Série"): covers 17 numbers near the green zero. Requires at least 9 chips to cover fully. Probability of winning: 45.9%. Payout is not fixed and can reach 17:1.
- Thirds of the Wheel: covers 6 numbers directly across from the Neighbours of Zero. Probability of winning: 32.4%. Payout: 17:1.
- Zero Game: a smaller version of Neighbours of Zero, covering 4 numbers near the green zero. Probability of winning: 18.9%. Payout can reach 35:1.
- The Orphans: covers the numbers not included in the other called bets.
