A void bet means your stake is returned rather than settled as a win or loss. Betano may cancel or void a bet for several reasons, to keep the betting experience fair and transparent for everyone:
- Odds error — a technical issue meant the odds shown were incorrect.
- Event cancellation — the event itself was cancelled, so the wager conditions no longer apply.
- Technical difficulties — a rare platform issue affecting the betting process.
- Duplicate bets — the same bet was accidentally placed more than once; the duplicate is cancelled.
What happens to your stake depends on the bet type:
- Single bet: your entire stake is fully refunded.
- Multiple bet: the voided selection settles at odds of 1.00, and the rest of your bet is unaffected.
- Bet Builder bet: if any selection is voided — for example, a player not competing — the entire Bet Builder bet is cancelled and your full stake refunded, unless the Void Non-Starting Players feature applies instead.
