If you try to log in, sign up, or complete your registration and see a message stating that our records show you are listed in the Nationwide Self-Exclusion (RVO), you will not be able to log in to your account or create a new one for the whole RVO registration period.
Why this happens
Being listed in the RVO can result from more than one situation, including your own request for self-exclusion or other conditions set by the Ministry of Finance. For the full list of reasons someone may be registered, visit the Ministry of Finance page. Betano has no way to view, change, or remove the reason for your registration — this is entirely outside our control.
One specific cause: household social benefits ("Super Benefit")
Since the introduction of the "Super Benefit," registration in the RVO can also happen automatically at the household level.
If any adult (18+) in a household receives the subsistence component of the Super Benefit, every adult in that household is automatically listed — not only the person who applied.
This data comes directly from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
- If a household qualifies only for a different component (for example, the housing component), this does not trigger registration.
The listing stays active for as long as the household is entitled to the subsistence component. It is removed automatically — with no action needed from you or from Betano — once that entitlement ends.
How to check your status or dispute your registration
Betano cannot check, explain, or dispute an RVO listing on your behalf — this decision sits entirely with the state. To check your status, request removal, or dispute a registration, contact the Ministry of Finance directly. They can tell you what information you'll need to provide and how long a review typically takes.
