Lock times you see are based on an event's expected start time, but they can change if Betano needs to adjust them to keep upcoming questions running smoothly. The official lock time is the one recorded in Betano's database — not necessarily the time originally shown to you.
If a question is mistakenly left open after its event has already started, Betano may, at its own discretion, either:
- Lock the question at any point, or
- Cancel the question entirely.
This is a safeguard to keep Master fair for everyone, since a prediction submitted after an event starts would have an unfair advantage.
