The Substitution Before Half-Time offer refunds your selection if the player you've chosen is substituted before half-time and the outcome hasn't yet been determined.
How to qualify
- Place a pre-event bet (before the match starts, not in-play) on a player market in a soccer match.
- Eligible bet types: single, multiple, system, and Bet Builder bets.
How your bet is settled
- Single bets: if your selected player is substituted before the half-time whistle, the bet is voided, and your stake is returned.
- Multiple and system bets: only the relevant player's selection is voided — the rest of the bet is settled normally.
- Bet Builder bets: the whole Bet Builder is voided, and the stake is returned, subject to the Bet Builder Terms and Conditions.
When this offer doesn't apply
- The outcome was already determined before the player was substituted — standard betting rules apply instead.
- Cash Out was used on the bet. In a multiple, cashing out the remaining selections doesn't retroactively affect whether this offer applied to an earlier selection.
- The player was sent off by the referee (red card, or two yellow cards) before the half-time whistle, rather than substituted.

When you're paid
Winnings are credited as soon as possible after the substitution takes place. In some cases, settlement may be delayed until the event ends.
